No Country Does This Quite Like Kenya
Kenya is not a single destination; it is a whole spectrum of places and experiences: from snowy mountains on the equator to red-dust rangelands, forests so ancient they feel like another world, and the Great Rift Valley, where the continent is slowly becoming two.
Our team have camped in places across this spectrum, from sites visited by herds of elephants in Tsavo, to Ndere Island where hippos snort below.
This is a camping journal and catalogue built by people who actually camp - with pit latrines and all. Pull up a camp chair and join us!

"Camping in Kenya teaches you about perspective, possibilities, and wonder - in broad horizons, diverse places and people, and unique fauna and flora."
Each campsite is the beginning of a story you haven't written yet.
Our community has visited every single one. Here's the honest guide.
